Page has worked with Vistaprint Corporation for almost a decade designing major expansions of their existing manufacturing campuses as well as providing site selection and due diligence for new locations around the world. Architectural and engineering services have been provided for manufacturing and office facilities located in Windsor, Ontario; Venlo, The Netherlands; Mumbai, India; Winterthur, Switzerland and Melbourne, Australia.
Master plans have been developed and implemented for more than 500,000 square feet of the Windsor facility along with detailed building design for over 300,000 square feet for Phases 3 and 4 manufacturing and office buildings at the site. Master plans of over 560,000 square feet have been created and updated for the Venlo complex. Recently completed projects include the 80,000-square-foot addition of a fourth manufacturing hall to the Venlo operation and the 145,000-square-foot expansion of the Windsor plant to incorporate new shipping and receiving services.
When Vistaprint decided to expand into the Australasia market, Page performed site selection and due diligence for nineteen sites in Australia: nine sites in Sydney and ten sites in Melbourne. Initial evaluations utilized desktop GIS tools. Once sufficient site information was collected on all of the sites, the Page team flew to Australia and spent 15 days in Melbourne and Sydney, evaluating the 19 sites and shortlisting three sites in Melbourne and three sites in Sydney.
Once the site was selected by Vistaprint, based on analysis by the Page team, the master plan for the campus was developed. Page worked with local geotech and surveying firms to locate site utilities, distributions and site logistics, and subsequently provided design, Tender Document Package and periodic on-site observations until the new plant was completed.
