The first academic building constructed on the Richard Bland College campus in over 40 years, this three-story science and technology building houses classrooms and seminar rooms, academic computing facilities, faculty and administrative offices, and nine instructional labs for physics, chemistry, biology, and electronics. Labs in the 53,000-square-foot McNeer Hall include high-tech equipment and integrate instructional technology to create a state-of-the-art learning environment. General and organic chemistry labs are fully supported with analytical instrumentation and computers. Biology and microbiology labs have extensive support spaces for preparation and cell culture. Physics labs feature modular work areas supported by mobile computing stations.
