For 49 years the mission of People’s Community Clinic has been to “improve the health of medically underserved and uninsured Central Texans by providing high quality, affordable healthcare with dignity and respect.” When the non-profit organization decided to raise funds for and build a new 59,000-square-foot clinic to accommodate its growing services, they engaged Dyal and Partners (now Dyal Branding & Graphics, A Page Company) to develop a new brand identity which would support their mission and help them tell their story.
In addition to developing the overall look and feel of the identity, Dyal Branding & Graphics created a device whereby the word “community” could be switched out with a message, in either English or Spanish. This device offers an almost endless array of opportunities for simple, direct, mission-enforcing messaging.
The identity development kicked off in October 2014 with approval by the Board. The identity system has been applied to several design components, including a development piece, annual luncheon materials, and People’s website. Dyal has continued to work with People's on their Donor Recognition and Building Graphics projects. Dyal collaborated closely with Studio8, the project architect for the new clinic.
“People’s is an independent non-profit health clinic serving low income patients in Austin for 45 years. As we prepared to double our capacity in a new building, Dyal and Partners successfully led our re-branding opportunity—capturing our mission in a clean, contemporary and versatile new logo while retaining the essence of our long established and deeply cherished core values. Great listeners!”
