Page provided complete architectural/ engineering services to the Dallas County Community College District for the design of major renovations to the 434-seat Mountain View College theater. The project required modifications of the 1970s-era theatre to comply with ADA and TAS standards.
This work included updating and upgrading of all finishes; replacing existing theatre seating; refinishing wood wall paneling throughout the theatre; replacing aisle carpeting and modifying aisle lighting; reconstructing sound control booth, lighting control booth, and projection booth; installing a new fire separation wall; main lobby renovation; installing smoke evacuation system in fly loft; installing new tension grid lighting platform downstage over orchestra; total replacement of sound system; modifications to rear corridor to create stage cross-over; installing new sound system in adjacent arena theatre; replacing original HVAC system; and providing fire sprinklering system in the audience area.
