Health Wildcatters is an elite mentor-driven seed accelerator focused on supporting start-ups and entrepreneurs who are innovating the healthcare industry worldwide. To further their vision of serving as an “innovation hub”, Health Wildcatters wanted a new space in which they could grow. An existing office in a downtown Dallas highrise tower needed to be redesigned to fit their varied needs from hosting functions to creating collaborative workspace for partners, housing recent graduates of the accelerator program in temporary office spaces and accommodating additional activities.
The 16,000 space was redesigned to be multi-purpose and flexible, with high-energy, whimsical elements that encourage creativity and different types of casual collaboration while remaining a professional environment appropriate for the startups to meet with the best in the business. Space for an art-buff co-founder’s growing art collection was also part of the program. It consists of a presentation and gathering space for the company’s Pitch Day and on-going program events; an open kitchen area where many working meals are served; many breakout, informal and enclosed conferencing spaces; co-working project team areas; collaboration areas; and lockable individual offices in three different sizes for leasing space to new start-ups or well established mentors of the program.
Page services on the project included Engineering and Interior Design.
