The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas has the largest and most inclusive art collection in Central Texas. It is a valuable asset to both the university and the Austin community, offering visitors visually stimulating and thought provoking experiences with its diverse and distinctive art.
Dyal and Partners (now Dyal Branding & Graphics, A Page Company) led a rebranding initiative for the museum and provided comprehensive strategy and design services to support the museum’s repositioning and rebranding efforts.
The team focused on defining the visual identity and personality of the Blanton and its related programs. They developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines that provides Blanton staff with a toolkit for implementing the identity through signage and building graphics, as well as promotional and communication pieces from buttons and coffee cups to publications and billboards. When the museum celebrated its 50th anniversary, Dyal designed invitations and other collateral for the gala.
