The new 120,000-square-foot building, which has achieved LEED Gold certification, includes classrooms, offices, an auditorium and a radio station with broadcast and performance studios. The scope of commissioning services included facilitating and reviewing the Owner's Project Requirements, reviewing the Basis of Design and reviewing schematic design, design development and construction documents. The team developed commissioning specifications and a commissioning plan, including prefunctional checklists that are relevant to the project. A Commissioning Report and Systems Manual were also developed in addition to operator training verification and near-warranty end review for the project.
