As an incoming freshman at Texas A&M University, William Sheffield wanted to find a course of study that would combine his love of both art and math. As a graduate with a Masters of Architecture, he had developed a personal mission to positively impact the quality of life for people through their interaction with the built environment.
While William had previously interned at another large, multidisciplinary firm he found his projects at Page have demanded close collaboration with owners, consultants, and contractors. He credits prioritizing the need for clear communication and expectations between all parties with delivering successful projects. This perfectly suits his logistical approach to design because it requires different perspectives to identify the best solution available.
Away from the office, William is actively involved with his church where he serves in the worship ministry for middle and high school students. He also puts his design experience to work with 2ndSaturday, a volunteer organization that partners with people in disadvantaged neighborhoods to help improve their present living conditions. Additionally, William makes time to attend every Aggie home football game with his extended family.
When asked how he feels about working for Page, William explains, "It excites me to share my professional skills, personal drive, and love of people with the Page family and our client base."
