Biography

Stuart is responsible for the initiation and day-to-day development of architectural design. His passion is rooted in the process from design conception to the crafting of well-detailed buildings. His career has been focused on complex higher education projects of various types and sizes. He is involved in all project phases to ensure design intent is maintained and realized in the completed project. Beginning early in the process, Stuart collaborates with the client in a positive, consensus-building approach to realize the institution’s vision. As an architect well-grounded in design, tectonics and construction, Stuart works with Page staff to prepare the documents at each phase.

His decades of experience also include private residences, parks, primary and secondary schools, corporate facilities and museums winning local, state and national design awards. Stuart won an open competition to design the New York City Police Memorial located in Battery Park City, Manhattan. Dedicated in 1997, the project won an Honor Award from AIA Denver and Tucker Award from the Building Stone Institute.
