Jen Bussinger rejoined Page in 2014 after nearly a decade expanding her commercial interiors portfolio, which ranges from corporate headquarters for technology companies to university spaces, healthcare and law offices. Her contribution to the Page team includes strong management skills with an ability to understand what clients truly need and an accomplished design sense.
Jen is committed to supporting her Page team members, which is an extension of her involvement in the Central Texas Chapter of CREW, Commercial Real Estate Women. After three years, she was appointed co-chair of the CREW Careers Program Committee. Jen explains, “What I like about CREW is that we are all supportive of female achievers across all facets of the commercial real estate industry. We share ideas, expertise and ideas in ways that benefit us all, and that carries over to office teams.”
Her expertise incorporates all aspects of interior design including feasibility studies, conceptual design development, space planning, alternative officing strategies, and stacking analysis. She is accomplished at finish and furniture selection, including custom furniture, millwork and artwork.
In her personal time, Jen continues to act as an advocate for the interior design profession. Her involvement in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) includes service on both the City and Regional Boards in various positions. Additionally, she teaches a design studio at The University of Texas at Austin and participates as a Project Design Critic at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University and The Art Institute of Austin.
Although she has spent the majority of her career based in Texas, Jen graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. She began her professional career in the Midwest before moving to Austin to join Page.
