Biography

Bruce Pickett attributes his success as a healthcare architect to his collaborative way of working. His teams meet on a daily basis, which Bruce says is especially necessary on large projects with large multi-disciplined design teams. He and his team collaborate with medical staff throughout the design process as they seek to identify and serve the staff’s needs and those of their patients. This allows team members to “be prepared to present our clients with the appropriate information to make informed decisions."

One of his personal favorite projects was Norman Regional Hospital in Norman Oklahoma, a 398,000 SF ground-up multi-specialty hospital. Bruce was the project manager from program verification through construction. Additionally, the hospital wanted to make a physical statement through the placement of their project at a high profile site along I-35 and Bruce’s team made sure they succeeded. The client was pleased with the functionality and look of the constructed result and so was Page.

Away from the office, Bruce serves as an elder and adult Sunday School teacher at a local Presbyterian church and a dedicated parent to two daughters. One of his hobbies is videography and photography, which he gets to practice on his children as well as his daughter’s school drill team, the Lake Highlands High School Highlandettes.

He obtained his Bachelor of Environmental Design, Cum Laude at the Texas A&M University College of Architecture and Environmental Design in College Station, Texas.
