Page Senior Associate Breanne Hanson enjoys highly technical work and easily explains complicated MEP systems to clients, coworkers and friends. A Mechanical Engineer, Breanne has worked on data center facilities around the country and is an expert in MEP design coordination and implementation. She has a strong background in construction and has worked across the Page market sectors on academic, civic/government, corporate/commercial and housing/hospitality projects. She has also been the lead designer on semiconductor projects.
A native of Arizona, Breanne joined the Page MEP team in 2011 noting the strong portfolio of diverse project types and repeat clients as qualities that attracted her to the firm. She describes her team as collaborative and very supportive. “We are a diverse group with a variety of experience and backgrounds,” she notes. “People are open. They are willing to teach colleagues and to learn from each other.”
For Breanne, a casual conversation with a colleague or client is often the best way to problem solve when issues come up in a project. “It is important to establish trust and open communication with clients and your team so that the final result of a project is the best outcome,” she says.
She definitely likes technical rigor but also prefers variety in her work and appreciates the unique cycles of each project. She is often involved in marketing pursuits and easily integrates into the multi-disciplinary teams across all of the Page offices.
Outside of the office, Breanne takes advantage of the laid-back and outdoor-focused culture in Austin. She spends many of her lunch breaks running on the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail. She is a certified yoga instructor and loves to hike with her dogs. “Our dogs are like our kids,” she says. “We do as much as we can with them.”
Breanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and is an ASHRAE Associate.
