Biography

With an eclectic background spanning from Walt Disney World to the White House, Amy Witte brings a unique perspective to our team. She relishes the chance to shape people’s experiences and interactions with their environments and has honed her skills through graphic design, interaction design, marketing, and interior design.

Over the course of her career, Amy has expanded her capacities with advanced degrees in both Public Affairs and Interior Design. While a graduate student at The University of Texas School of Architecture, she collaborated with the Gulf Coast DesignLab to design-build a bird blind for Camp Aranzazu, a facility that provides summer camp experiences for children with special needs. In her last year at UT Austin, Amy undertook original research into Smart Textiles for Interior Design, culminating in a published report and development of a prototype “thick threshold” that interacts with and responds to a person entering an interior space.
