Welcome To Our New Office

Thanks to all who attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration & Open House of the Page office in Washington DC, and made it such an enjoyable event! We were pleased to showcase our new, expanded space in the historic Sumner Square complex at 1615 M Street NW, and to share stories with friends old and new. Senior Principals Thomas McCarthy and James Wright led our staff in welcoming over 200 people throughout the course of the evening.

Since we completed our own office renovations, the open house gave us an opportunity to show a tangible example of the caliber of our work in the Corporate / Commercial market sector. Images from our portfolio were displayed on our wall-mounted TV screens which helped us talk about some of our current projects, such as the National China Garden at the U.S. National Arboretum, which will be a significant civic asset when completed.

James Wright recently returned from serving as a judge for the AIA International Design Awards in Hong Kong, so he had some perspectives to share on international design trends. And, our office is about to play host to a team of Page colleagues from other locations who will share their expertise at a national forum on repositioning historic and vintage commercial structures with the intent of regenerating value in these aging assets.

Page established a presence in Washington DC in 1994 with the intent of focusing on the strengths of the city. Our initial achievements came through private developer clients and mixed-use, urban projects such as The Navy League Building, the first Page building to achieve Silver LEED certification.

Since expanding to the federal government design-build arena, we are becoming one of the leading designers of secure office environments for the Department of State, the Army Corps of Engineers and the General Services Administration. Most notably, we are currently working on our 28th design-build new embassy compound, representing a total of over $3.5B in new construction since 2002.
