Unique Montessori Campus Recognized with National Design Award

A Montessori public charter school has caught the attention of educators and parents for offering free tuition and for its intentional location in a socioeconomically challenged part of Austin, Texas. The founders wanted to make Montessori education more accessible, and they wanted the design of the campus to be purpose-driven. Now, a prestigious design society has bestowed its highest honor on the project.

The Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) recognized Magnolia Montessori For All, designed by Page, with its Design Award of Excellence. This event showcases design excellence from American architects not only practicing in the U.S., but also those that are making a positive impact with their global design work.

Page Associate Principal Chad Johnson attended the event to accept the award for Page, whose projects have received more than 30 design awards from SARA in the last 15 years. Page is proud to be represented among winners of this national annual award competition yet again.

This project truly fulfills our promise of design that makes lives better. Congratulations to our client, project partners and team members as well as all the talented winners at the 2018 SARA Design Awards.
