Topping Out of New Pediatric Orthopedic Institute
Despite freezing temperatures and snow flurries, the Page project team celebrated the topping out of the Children's Health Plano Specialty Center II. This expansion is to include the Andrews Institute for Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, an ambulatory surgery center and medical office space on the top two floors of the four-story structure. The topping-out is an exciting milestone for Children's Health as they expand their mission for health and wellness for all children in the metroplex and beyond. The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2017.
The Andrews Institute for Orthopedic & Sports Medicine will be the only facility of its kind in the region. It is being developed under the direction of renowned surgeon James (Jim) R. Andrews who recognized the concentration of competitive youth athletes in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area relative other parts of the United States. Page is proud to be involved with this project as the design architect and architect of record.
