Standing on the Shoulders of Interior Design Giants

For the 11th year in a row, Page is pleased to be ranked among Interior Design Magazine’s Top 25 Interior Giants. This global list accounts for work in many market sectors including Corporate, Education, Hospitality, Transportation and Healthcare/Assisted Living. Page is equally pleased to be included as a 2016 Top Ten Giant in Government work.

Page consistently proves itself to be a preferred partner across all market sectors, serving clients as diverse as the United States Federal Court System, global technology enterprises, and non-profit companies such as the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Additionally Page continues to provide brand architecture across the country for leading national developers such as AMLI Residential, whose Mueller project in Austin, Texas recently won a national award. A firm-wide emphasis on innovative strategies, from Workplace Design to Asset Repositioning, help clients meet tomorrow’s needs today.

"Standing on the shoulders of giants" references discoveries built on previous discoveries, and today is commonly used to reference work that has taken previously industry acomplishments to the next level. Marissa Yu, Page Principal and Director for Interiors in Houston, explained another reason for Page's success, "Diversity in project types is key across the industry, and Page has always  been strong in that regard. I think our teams are agile and cross-trained to provide unique design solutions for our diverse client base. We’re looking forward to doing more of that!"

Notable Page interior design projects include the historic landmark Rice Hotel, which the firm restored in the 1990’s, converting guest rooms to residential lofts. In 2015 Page was tapped again to renovate The Rice for its new owner who wanted the building to maintain its competitive edge amid a boom in downtown Houston residential construction. Other recent key projects include work for Invesco, a Fortune 500 financial management company; a flight training center for one of the world's largest airlines; and the latest addition to a highly-ranked US News & World Report healthcare system that is bringing its seventh hospital online, augmenting a network of nearly 150 care centers.

In the Government sector, Page has been on the project teams for 30 diplomatic compounds, which include both embassies and consulates, and has done the interiors for every one of these projects. Compounds include a variety of buildings such as USAID annexes, Marine Security Guard residences, Chief of Mission Residences, American Clubs, recreation centers, staff apartments, temporary duty housing, utility buildings, warehouses, support workshops and access pavilions. In 2015, the firm was awarded an additional three Government projects, all of which are currently under design and construction.
