Page employee puts injuries aside to ride for others

Page employee Karen Marnach is an avid cyclist who fractured some bones and separated her shoulder in a serious crash last November. Although it took her some time to return to the office, she was determined to ride as usual in the annual BP MS150 Houston fundraiser the following April.

The two-day cycling event is organized by the National MS Society: Lone Star chapter and is the largest of its kind in North America. In 2013, the event raised more than $18.1 million for MS.

Not only did Karen finish the 166-mile ride from Houston to Austin, she made excellent time, crossing the finish line shortly after noon on Sunday and well ahead of many other participants. She and her team, Urban Bicycle Gallery, raised over $110,000 for MS this year! Page is very proud of Karen's generosity and determination to ride while still recovering from her injuries in order to improve life for others.
