Page Project Wins Best Hotel Award

Our client Kempinski Hotels S.A. prides themselves on a high standard for their portfolio of luxury hotels. Page designed their Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana, which opened in late 2015 and just won "Best Hotel in West Africa" from the Bafalon Awards Committee of Experts in partnership with Africa Travel Quarterly.

The Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City is actually a complex spread over 86 acres that comprises numerous buildings, including commercial and residential towers organized along a broad boulevard and esplanade. According to Kempinski Hotels S.A., the property has been a successful addition to its portfolio since its opening. Kempinski’s own shopping center, the Galleria Mall located across the street, has a food hall inspired by traditional Ghanaian markets, but with the latest modern innovations .

The architecture of the hotel meets the standards of a Western government building with a focus on security and has become a de facto extension of the Ghanaian government seat, hosting world leaders such as the President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Former Prime Minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair, The French Prime Minister Manuel Carlos Valls Galfetti, Liberian President Her Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Former president of Nigeria His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, The Vice President of Kenya His Excellency William Ruto and The Prime Minister of Italy, H.E Matteo Renzi.
