Page Creates a Monster (Backpack)!

It’s back(pack) to school time! And who wouldn’t want to show up at school wearing this awesome little monster?

A Page DC Interiors team comprising Elizabeth Hall, Priya Shivalingarajalingam, Michelle Ho, Greg Savage and Hunter Cotterman participated in Operation Backpack, an annual Backpack Design Competition and fundraiser held by Volunteers of America Chesapeake. Each team of five people had one hour to design and construct a backpack, and in the words of our oh-so-talented team, “We came, we sewed, we kicked ****” – and took home first place with their Monster Backpack!

The backpacks were judged by a panel of school-aged kids who knew exactly what they were looking for!

Congratulations to the team for their terrific design and for supporting VOA’s ongoing efforts to help underprivileged children in the area!
