Page Congratulates Project Partners on TASLA Awards
Page is proud to congratulate project partners on receiving three recent ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) Texas Chapter awards. The SWA Group accepted an Honor in Design Award for Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston and Design Workshop was honored with a Merit Award in Design Unrealized - Residential for 70 Rainey in Austin as well as a Merit Award in Planning & Analysis for Destination Bell Boulevard in Cedar Park.
Buffalo Bayou Park is a transformative urban park that was designed to accommodate naturally occurring events such as flood and drought. Page was responsible for the architectural structures that serve as landmarks and places of focus throughout the park.
70 Rainey is a residential highrise tower currently under construction. Page designed a distinctive "twist" in the building's column grid that provides each of the 164 condos with panoramic views of the Colorado River, the Austin skyline and the Hill Country.
Destination Bell Boulevard is a community redevelopment project on which Page served as the architectural consultant. The firm's work included analyses of existing buildings, benchmarking comparative redevelopment projects and architectural character studies.
ASLA promotes the profession of landscape architecture and works to advance the practice through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship. To learn more about the Texas Chapter, click here.
