Page Carries The Load For Those Who Carry Our Country

This year, Page again participated in the annual Carry The Load Memorial Walk, an event dedicated to remembering, honoring and celebrating our nation's heroes. In addition to acknowledging our colleagues who are military veterans and volunteer rescue personnel, our support also resonates with Pagers who have relatives or friends serving our country.

Hilary Bales, a principal in our Dallas office, initially learned of Carry The Load through one of the firm’s clients which is a recipient affiliate. The Center for BrainHealth’s Brain Performance Institute at The University of Texas at Dallas serves veterans, among others, including those being treated for traumatic injuries. This fall, they will continue their mission in their new Page-designed facility just south of Dallas Love Field Airport.

Page Team Captain Sean Carr organized a dozen Pagers who walked anywhere from 7 to 14 miles each for the Dallas relay leg of the Memorial Walk. Others volunteered their time to organize the event and still more helped with the fundraising effort, resulting in a donation of several thousand dollars to Carry The Load.

Page also created custom-designed T-shirts naming all active employees who have served to raise awareness of the event. We appreciate those who took time from their holiday weekend to share in this national campaign to “put the meaning back into Memorial Day.”
