Page Acquires BMS Design Group

Building Design + Construction, a national publication, shares that Page has expanded its urban design and urban/campus planning capabilities through the acquisition of BMS Design Group, a consulting firm in San Francisco. Their areas of expertise include urban planning, urban design and landscape architecture. Additionally, Dan Kenney, an award-winning architect and master campus/site planner with four decades of experience, will join Page in the new office.

BD+C Magazine goes on to explain that the move will advance Page’s planning service capabilities in transit-related projects, waterfronts and streetscapes across all its offices. In turn, Page will offer architectural, engineering, interior design and strategic consulting to West Coast clients. This also means Page now has offices in every time zone across the continental United States.

Page shares a commitment to placemaking at an urban and environmental scale with BMS co-founders Barbara Maloney and Michael Smiley, and with Dan Kenney, formerly of Sasaki Associates Inc. Maloney and Kenney, who join Page as principals, also share a long-standing commitment and record of success in planning and design for higher education. Kenney is reuniting with former colleague Michael Smiley, an international urban designer, who will serve as Page Principal Emeritus. The three will lead the San Francisco office and expand the planning services across all Page offices.
