New Women, Children's Hospital to Serve Austin

Texas Children’s Hospital, one of the top-ranked hospitals in America providing pediatric and maternal-fetal care, announced plans to build a $450 million freestanding children's and women’s hospital in Austin. Our team is providing project management, programming, master planning, architecture and interior design services for the hospital.

Set to open in the fourth quarter of 2023, the 48-bed, 360,000-square-foot  hospital will have neonatal intensive care; pediatric intensive care, operating rooms, an epilepsy monitoring unit, a sleep center, an emergency center, diagnostic imaging, acute care, an on-site Texas Children's Urgent Care location and labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care. Pediatric subspecialties that will be offered include heart, cancer, brain, lung, gastroenterology and rheumatology care.

Our team has a longstanding relationship with Texas Children’s Hospital as we provided programming, architecture, interior design and sustainability services for the hospital system’s West Campus in Houston, which opened in 2010. Since that time, Page has designed all of the Texas Children’s Hospital facilities in Austin, including an Urgent Care and Welcome Center, Specialty Care clinics, and renovations to multiple primary care locations across the Austin area.
