New Board Member Brings Vision for Growth
Page is pleased to announce the elevation of Jonathan Sylvie PhD, MBA, PE, PMP, FHFI, to its Board of Directors. A decorated veteran with a distinguished career, Jon is an outstanding leader with a vision for growth. He integrates successful operations management with a focus on design excellence, while also ensuring his teams have the necessary resources to meet our sophisticated clients’ goals.
Jon’s more than two-decade military career culminated in his role as Program Manager for the U.S. Army Surgeon General, where he led $2.3 billion in design and construction of medical and research facilities. For his service, Jon received the designation of Distinguished Member of the Army Medical Department. He was also awarded the Order of Military Medical Merit for demonstrating an outstanding degree of professional competence and having made a sustained contribution to the betterment of Army medicine. Jon was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service as Chief of Health Facilities for Multinational Forces-Iraq. Upon retiring from the Army in 2012, Jon was honored with the Legion of Merit in acknowledgment of meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements over the course of his career.
Since joining Page in 2012, Jon has had a key role in the growth of our Government Market Sector. He oversees business development as well as project and program management in facility programming, design, and construction. His breadth of experience managing large, complex projects has taught him where challenges arise and how to address them. Jon enjoys guiding clients and teams through the process as well as acting as a mentor to young professionals.
Jon has helped to expand the firm’s geographic influence, as Page now provides design and engineering services to government agencies across the globe. Significant design projects realized under Jon’s direction include the award-winning master plan of the Texas State Capitol Complex, which adds more than one million square feet of new office space and establishes a new six-acre park in Austin, TX; the Bexar Metro 911 Network Quarry Run Regional Operation Center, which was built with integrated resiliency and wellness strategies in San Antonio, TX; and the Schofield Barracks Behavioral Health and Dental Clinic, in Hawaii, which is located in an historic district and incorporates Defense Health Agency World Class principles to provide an enhanced healing environment to service members and their families.
Jon is a Fellow of the Health Facility Institute, where he is a current Board Member and recently completed his term as Chair of the Board of Directors. He is the author of multiple journal articles detailing his research on planning, design, and operational considerations that benefit lifecycle security of industrial facilities. Jon has also taught university courses on healthcare administration and business administration.
As the newest Senior Principal, Jon will bring to the board his vast experience, strategic approach, and keen eye for growth opportunities to advance Page’s mission of creating designs that make lives better.

Regarding his goals as he joins the Board of Directors, Jon notes: “I hope to bring continuous improvement to how we deliver our work, expand our geographic presence, and grow the capabilities of the firm, while also maintaining the people-focused firm culture that inspired me to join Page.”
