Inaugural Houston X Design Week

Page was proud to play an integral role in the inaugural AIA Houston Chapter Interior Architecture Committee Houston By Design (HxD) Week. The event defined what design is and why we design. It ran for a full week, kicking off with the annual AIA Houston Gala and offered architectural and interior design tours, lectures, and exhibits throughout Houston. Pagers served on the planning committee, presented, participated in and moderated panel discussions. The timing of HxD also coincided with the completion of the newly renovated Page Houston office, so a first-look tour was one of the numerous options throughout the week.

Page workplace design specialists Marissa Yu and Jamie Flatt gave a group presentation on The Workers' Future Place based in part on the firm's experience with its own design process for a large, diverse group of employees who span the full range of generations as well as cultural origins. Afterward, they led groups on tours of the renovated office space to illustrate points made in the presentation. John Clegg moderated the Principal Round Table: Power Hour panel discussion, which was billed as "an hour of unplugged and unfiltered" conversation and other Pagers contributed as well.

Thanks to Micki Washington for her role on the AIA Houston Chapter Interior Architecture Committee which conceived and planned HxD Week.
