Hilary Bales Receives ACHA Board Certification

Page Associate Principal Hilary Bales, AIA, EDAC, ACHA, has earned her Board Certification in healthcare architecture from Healthcare Architects (ACHA). Hilary recently passed an accredited examination, which assesses the knowledge and understanding of architects who practice as healthcare specialists.

She joins the ranks of approximately 400 ACHA colleagues in the US and Canada who have received this important architectural credential. Other Pagers who also have achieved this include Robert Doane and Mattia Flabiano.

ACHA requires its certificate holders to work towards the improvement of healthcare architecture on behalf of the public, to practice in an ethical manner and to maintain the highest standards in the specialized field of healthcare architecture. Members must be a licensed architect for a minimum of three years, demonstrate work on healthcare specific projects for a minimum of 6,000 hours within the last five years and submit a portfolio of work.

“I got into this field because I wanted to impact people’s lives positively,” Hilary explains. She actively leads planning and design efforts on a variety of healthcare projects here at Page, and she continues to do so while supporting ACHA’s vision - transforming healthcare through better built environments.
