Gulf Coast Green 2015: Early Bird Registration Now Open!
Do your New Year's resolutions include saving money? Planning ahead for your AIA/GBCI LU requirements? Learning more about designing and building healthy communities from different viewpoints, i.e. the client, the architect, the planner, the building owner, etc.? The Gulf Coast Green 2015 organizers have made it even easier for you to keep all three of those, and possibly more, with Early Bird pricing of $175, a savings of 10% if you sign up by February 2.
This one-day event focusing on innovative green building initiatives will take place Friday, March 27 at City Centre in Houston. It consists of three components: the symposium, which will address urban design solutions and processes; the 2015 Green Products Expo, which will feature sustainable products and systems; and the Student Competition design charrette among aspiring designers from top Gulf Coast schools.
This will be the 10th year of the Gulf Coast Green conference and AIA Houston has planned an anniversary-edition event. In addition to top-notch speakers, there are enhanced attendee opportunities such as the After-Party on Friday night, which is restricted to attendees only. This is a chance to get to know people in your industry better, share thoughts and learnings and celebrate a great day.
The following day, a Cycling Scavenger Hunt that leads you through notable spaces and places in Houston will provide an opportunity for you to see some things that were discussed the day before, either for the first time or through fresh eyes. Registration for this event is separate but can be accessed at the same place as Gulf Coast Green 2015: Healthy Communities – Vitality in Placemaking.
Secure your place on the list today and lighten the load on your wallet this spring. Register at gulfcoastgreen.org now.
As always, Gulf Coast Green strives to be a zero-waste event.
