Celebrating The Newest Houston Methodist Hospital In The Woodlands

Houston Methodist just celebrated a grand opening for its newest hospital in the greater Houston area. This campus in The Woodlands will provide full medical care to a rapidly growing community just north of Houston. Pagers Joan Albert, Brian Gray and Angela Gonzalez represented the firm at the event which also was attended by the CEO of Houston Methodist, board members and community group leaders. The following weekend, a community open house was held so members of the public also could see the state-of-the-art facilities and unique creations by local artists.

Area residents will benefit from services provided at the 480,000 square-foot six-story hospital with an adjacent 160,000 square-foot six-story medical office building. The Woodlands facility design is modeled after Houston Methodist West Hospital near Katy, which Page also designed. Both facilities incorporated evidence-based design concepts, patient safety principles and energy efficient strategies throughout the hospital to promote healing and ensure patient and staff comfort and well-being.
