COVID-19 Managed at Special Isolation Unit
While the current pandemic brings infectious diseases to the minds of Americans every day, they have always been a concern for the healthcare industry. In 2015, Texas Children's Hospital - West Campus wanted to help make it possible to care for regional pediatric patients who were infected with highly contagious diseases. The state-of-the-art Special Isolation Unit which Page designed is the only one of its kind in Texas and the Southwest region, and among the few in the United States. Now, one of the doctors there explains how it is being used in the battle against COVID-19:
