A Day of Golf to Benefit Charity

The 21st-annual National Capital Golf Classic (NCGC) was a huge success and raised more than $250,000 for cancer research. Pagers participated with Tara McCarthy, Director of Business Development, leading the way as the co-chair of the event. Tara has served on the organizing committee for six years and worked closely with Josh Foreso of HITT Contracting to make this year’s event a success.

NCGC invites all of the AEC industry in the greater metropolitan Washington, D.C. for a day of fun, yet competitive golf. Over its multi-decade history, the event has become a premier fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

This year, NCGC honored Donald “Skip” Trump, MD, CEO and Executive Director of INOVA Schar Cancer Institute. Dr. Trump is building a cancer institute for the D.C. metro area that brings together high-quality, patient-centered care provided by expert physicians with translational research efforts and excellent support services.
